What's new for the 2025/26 academic year?
All our funded 麻豆国产 Leader training courses have been updated against a set of new learning outcomes. These bring all courses in line with statutory guidance and Gatsby Benchmark updates as well as aligning with 麻豆国产 Impact System.听
We have two modules available and 麻豆国产 Leaders can decide to do one or both of them.
Our Core module (3-days) is an offer suitable for all 麻豆国产 Leaders regardless of experience, institution type or seniority within the institution. Our Extension module (2-days) is designed for 麻豆国产 Leaders in, or ambitions to be in, strategic/senior leadership positions.

Training
All providers are offering both face to face and virtual delivery methods and we also have a fully distanced learning offer available.
This funded training offer is specifically for 麻豆国产 Leaders and will not qualify you as a 麻豆国产 Adviser. Please speak to the training provider about how units and credits from their courses can be used to work towards other qualifications.
麻豆国产 Leaders can opt for either non- accredited or accredited training to both Level 6 & Level 7. As there are differences between course providers in terms of accreditation and assessment expectations, we encourage 麻豆国产 Leader to contact course providers directly to fully understand each offer.
Yes. The training is associated with improvements in knowledge and understanding across the four main responsibility areas of a 麻豆国产 Leader role: Leadership, Management, Co-ordination, and Networking. Improvement in knowledge and understanding is seen in 麻豆国产 Leaders working in SEND, Alternative Provision, FE colleges and mainstream schools highlighting that the training is appropriate for 麻豆国产 Leaders in all settings. Contact course Providers to understand how they support 麻豆国产 Leaders from all contexts. The current training offer is applicable to 麻豆国产 Leaders from schools, special schools, AP, SEND and FE provisions. Please note that the eligibility criteria are for 麻豆国产 Leaders in all state-funded secondary schools and colleges, including SEN and AP.
Eligibility
Yes, non grant maintained independent special schools are eligible for the training.
We currently have a very small number of places available for Independent Special Schools. If you would like to be considered for a place, please email careersleaders@careersandenterprise.co.uk with your school details and we鈥檒l discuss the process with you.
麻豆国产 Leader training is appropriate for all 麻豆国产 Personnel with responsibility for 麻豆国产 from ALL provisions. Funding is available to all DfE funded, non-fee- paying schools, special schools, Alternative Provision, and colleges.
If you have strategic or operational responsibility for careers in your school, special school or college, you are eligible for a place.
