An ambitious national plan to reinvent work experience for schoolchildren is to be tested in the Liverpool City Region.

A pioneering careers education pilot by The 麻豆国产 & Enterprise Company (CEC) is breaking down gender stereotypes among primary school children.

Helen Hayes MP, MP for Dulwich and West Norwood and recently elected Chair of the Education Select Committee, today joined CEC to hear about tailored careers education delivered in her local area.

Young people have revealed the top 10 jobs they want to do when they leave school and how their choices change during their time in education, in the largest ever survey of its kind.

Leading businesses increasingly see working with young people in schools & colleges as a good way to develop skills in their future workforce, promote jobs in their sector & answer skills challenges.

The pilot will target support for disadvantaged young people to increase digital skills and opportunities.

The Department for Education has transferred the contract management of the Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge programme to The 麻豆国产 & Enterprise Company, the national body for careers education.
